I was very apprehensive about needing to find a sitter for our dog Winston, but as soon as I met Stacy and Dan my heart and mind were put at ease. I knew without a doubt that he'd be well taken care of and they didn't disappoint. Stacy provided plenty of photos of their fun adventures and kept us up to date on how he was doing for our entire trip. We couldn't have asked ...

Stacy was wonderful with my dogs. I have one that doesn't always take to new people and places, and has come back visibly stressed from other places so I was concerned, but Stacy's love of animals and great environment made my dog right at home. They were very well cared for and spoiled, and I didn't have to worry about them being stressed out. I would absolutely take them back to Stacy again!

Simply outstanding. Bear was walked, brushed, and given much love while I was away. I would recommend Stacy and will give Bear more opportunities to visit.

Devoted to pet health and happiness

Thank you for considering me to take care of your beloved family member(s)! My fiancé, Dan, and I provide services for one pet family at a time so we can guarantee that your pet(s) will receive all of our attention (and as much spoiling as you'd like) without having to worry about how they'll get along with other pets. I have been working with pets since 2001 and I am very comfortable administering ...

What Stacy would like to know about your dog

I'd like to know as much about your dog(s) as possible. Most importantly what their normal routine is, what they can/can't eat, medications they take, vet they go to, what their favorite things are, ect. If you'd like them to stay in our home, they MUST be currently on flea/tick preventative. I do ask to meet and greet all new clients before a stay and give them a short pet profile to fill out, which they leave with us once the stay begins. It helps ensure we have all the information we need to keep pets safe and happy.

When Stacy watches your pet

Let me know your dog(s)' preferred walking routes and duration of time outside. Carolina Beach State Park is my favorite destination walk, especially during summer, because of the shade some of the trails provide. I prefer to use a harness while walking and can provide a small or large adjustable if you don't have one. I use a collapsible dish and carry water during walks to help ensure no one gets overheated. When weather is bad, I shorten walks in favor of more indoor playtime. Just let me know what your pet's favorite things are and I'll provide the time to do them. I have plenty of interactive toys in my home to play with, as well as a raised feeder for the tallest of dogs, custom stairs for those with bad hips to get up onto our over-sized couch, and an Orvis Tempur-pedic dog bed (in case they don't care to share our bed). In fact, we prefer dogs to be on our couch and our bed. It's just so much easier to snuggle that way! We only board/walk 1-3 dogs from the same family at a time, so we can be sure to give everyone the attention they need.
