Stay At Home DogMa - Pamper Ur Pup

Pet care experience

I’ve dog sat for many friends and neighbors for years including walks, single day repeats, emergency overnights, 14 day trips, stays in owners homes, etc. I know how hard it is finding a sitter you trust; especially while you enjoy your own time away. I make sure a dog feels safe, comfortable, and stimulated with play or various places to relax - whatever their preference. I do this so I know there are more people caring for pets with the same love, patience, and attention I want to provide my own dog. I only take one reservation at a time so the dog is only with its house mates. I will only take a second reservation if both owners know, and I am familiar with both dogs temperaments. I want pets happy, and I don't want any pet tired from anxiety. My hope is you feel your dog is pampered at a summer camp or resort while they're with me. I have extensive experience with injections, eye creams, pills, or any other medications. I especially love senior dogs. I’m quite active so if your dog needs a walk, I’m happy to do so! I’ve worked in medical ethics and compliance for 15 years. I have numerous background checks and hold myself to the upmost integrity. If you need me in your home, you can have peace of mind just as my own employers do. I do maintain notes from clients homes I've stayed in. Those are available if requested to maintain privacy. I work from home part time, flexible schedule, so I am free whenever, wherever. My husband Daniel also works from home full time. This is helpful for scheduling a visit or drop off, medications, feeding schedules, potty breaks, extra attention and play, or anything else. Our front deck is gated. Our backyard is fenced, and we have a 2 foot fenced dog-turf potty area. We also have a sofa ramp for wiggle butts. (Note - our doxie Harley passed in December from old age. We miss her dearly and will look for a new wiggle-butt to pamper this fall. Until then, I'm leaving this info here so you can see what our routine was and will possibly be like.) My husband works from his home office upstairs. He has an XXL sized orthopedic dog bed and blankets. I am downstairs with a couple smaller beds, the sofa, and a front & back deck so dogs have access to sunbathe and stretch any time of day. We have found some dogs like 'guy time' in the darker den upstairs and it's nice to know they have various places to enjoy their day. This is also helpful if we need to split dogs to give a medication, or one can go on a walk while another may want to nap. We have two large crates if you prefer for your dog (like bedtime), but we don’t personally use them. We’ve got plenty of dog beds, blankets, bowls, and leashes but please bring what your pup may be comfortable with. Dogs are welcome on furniture/bed (but we encourage your home habits to maintain consistency). Please let me know about any personality traits, needs, medical, food, behavior, routines, etc. I’m completely adaptable and believe dogs respond well to humans who understand them.

Stacy was amazing. My dogs had the best stay at her home. She treated them like they were her own and gave them so much love and attention. My dogs came home happy! I would definitely use Stacy again and highly recommend her!

Our pup had a GREAT time at Stacy's house! She and her husband clearly love dogs and they go to great lengths to provide a home away from home for them. Stacy sent lots of pictures and updates so we were never left wondering how our dog was doing. I hope we can book her again on our next visit to Woodland Park!

Our dogs loved their stay. Stacy did an amazing job of caring for our two dogs while we attended my son’s destination wedding. We were totally comfortable leaving our pups with her. Believe me when I say, we wouldn’t leave them, unless we totally trusted the person caring for them. Great communication and professionalism from start to finish. We appreciated receiving pictures and daily updates. We could not be happier with our experience and highly recommended her.

If we could give Stacy a 1000 star review we would! She was absolutely more than what we could ever have hoped for. She stayed at our home and took impeccable care of our fur babies with attention to every detail. Stacy’s communication was outstanding, her personality is sweet, joyful and she is genuinely a kind person! Our fur babies fell in love with Stacy and her husband Dan. We were able to enjoy our trip with no worries because Stacy was beyond amazing!!!!

Information Stacy B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about any personality traits, needs, medical, food, behavior, routines, etc. I’m completely adaptable and believe dogs respond well to humans who understand them. If I'm at your place, let me know what rules or routines you may have that I can help encourage. Maybe your pet is used to the TV in the evening, or they like their food on a raised tray. Perhaps they're allowed on the sofa but not a special chair. Whatever your routine is, I'll maintain consistency so there's no confusion for the pet.

A typical day

We frequently start the day with coffee on the front deck. If possible, a quick walk to the mailbox 8 houses up the road. The town park walk is 1.2 miles round trip through pine tree shaded streets or my favorite trail is a 7 minute drive up the road. In the afternoon, our back deck gets plenty of sun and the deck rug is perfect for those back twisty-scratches! I have a couple puzzle boards and sensory carpets I'll put kibble in to stimulate the dogs to sniff and search. In the evenings my husband and I make sure dogs get quality play time - whether it's toys, playing on the floor, running in the backyard, squirminess, zoomies, or whatever gets them excited and moving. Then it's snuggles on the couch with some tv before a final potty trip and bedtime. Everyone has a spot upstairs whether it's on the floor, or in a bet at the foot of our king size bed. Sunrise comes soon enough and there's nothing like a cup of coffee on the front deck with the pups you love!
