Pet care experience
I offer check ins for cats and dogs. I’m willing to take time to visit and play, feed, clean litter, take short walks. I’m especially good with shy cats and dogs who need patience and calm care to feel safe to come out for attention, food and play. All my pets have been rescues and several with special needs, including a very timid dog who was feral when rescued. I have fostered cats for the Watauga Humane society. I currently live with a very shy Beagle mix and one-eyed Maine Coon mix. I have a varied work schedule substitute teaching and can plan my availability with prior notice but might also in a pinch. Just call and see! I have two indoor pets, cat and dog. So I am walking moderately each day and and well rehearsed in kitty play. In your home I will do the same according to you & your pet’s wishes.

Stacy was an outstanding sitter for our four pets. Originally, we had hired a different sitter through Rover for our Christmas getaway. Less than a week before our trip, the petsitter cancelled on us, setting us into panic mode. We are SO FORTUNATE to have met Stacy through Rover and she graciously stepped in at the last minute. Stacy stayed overnight, walked the dog, and gave our cats lots of love. We was very communicative, sent pictures of the pets, and took very good care of our house. We are beyond grateful for her and cannot thank her enough. We highly encourage anyone to use Stacy. She is the absolute best. Thank you Stacy!
Stacy was a great communicator and handled our very opposite energy leveled dogs like a champ.
Stacy was wonderful with our dog Abe! He is getting older and is mostly blind, which makes him slow to warm up to strangers. Stacy was patient and attentive and we were so pleased with her care!!
We made last minute daycare reservations with Stacy after we learned our dog could not attend the Highland Scottish Festival. Stacy was great! Very prompt with communications over text/email and very flexible with meet & greet, daycare time scheduling. We enjoyed meeting Stacy and were very disappointed with my husband got COVID and we were not able to attend the festival. Stacy was as kind and flexible with our last minute cancellation as she had been throughout the booking process. We think Stacy would have taken fabulous care of our dog and we highly recommend her calm, mature, professionalism. It was our first experience with Rover and Stacy made it a great one!
