This is a dogs home. We have 3 small dogs of our own that love to play fetch and go for walks. We have enough room to separate them if needed but it shouldn't be an issue. A neighbors dog lived with us for a little while and did just fine. I bought my home 11 years ago so we could have a dog. My teenage daughter and I have always had a love for dogs to the point we have talked about starting a rescue someday if we can. My daughter is 16 and wants to become a vet.
