I've grown up with pets since I was born, can't imagine not having them. They are a part of the family, and deserve all the love. My first job with animals was when I was 15 and I began making in house visits for local pets. I slowly built a clientele and had a good circle of regulars. My next job with animals was working at the local pound in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico in 2012. I worked alongside a rescue group and we made it our mission to save as many of the street dogs as possible. In 2015 I was hired at a boarding/grooming/training facility. This was a great stepping stone to me being hired at a veterinary hospital as a receptionist. I worked at that clinic off and on for roughly 5 years growing from front desk, to assistant, to pharmacy tech, to inventory manager. From there I moved onto working at a large specialty/ER animal hospital in Houston Texas as the inventory purchaser. As of May 2023 I now live in the Clifton Park area while working full time at a local animal hospital as the pharmacy manager. While I don’t have as many interactions with the animals as I have at previous jobs, I’m very aware of basically care and when to be on alert for more intense health concerns(heat stroke, bloat, aggression)
