Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of my childhood dog (poodle mix) along with 2 dogs while living on my own. One of the dogs I owned required daily medication and a monthly injection, so I have experience with giving that as well. I used to volunteer at a pet grooming service bathing dogs, and I have personally trained my dogs as well as taken them to obedience classes. I also worked for Petsmart for almost 2 years. I have a lot of pet knowledge as well as dog/puppy experience, and I love learning more about training and pet care.

We have a friendly social dog at home who often sleeps in my office when I'm in class. I am very open to him having a playmate! We go on walks/runs twice a day and spend time in the backyard as well as the dog park. I also have been training him in obedience at home. If a pet is in our home, he/she would be able to socialize and play with our dog, go on walks twice a day, and someone will always be home to care for him/her. I enjoy playing with pets at their homes as well and keeping them engaged and entertained.

I would like to know ahead of time what the dog's behaviors are, what treats/toys motivate him/her the most, and what the dog's favorite activities are. It would also be helpful to know what level of obedience the dog is as well.
A typical day
On a typical day, Rex and I will go on walks/runs, do some training, and play. We try to make it to the dog park as much as possible.

Availability
I am currently a doctorate student. I am home multiple days a week as most of my classes are online. Since we own a dog as well, my daily routine when I am home is to take him out for a walk/run twice a day, we try to make it to the dog park as often as possible, and we work on training and engage in play throughout the day.
