Until moving back to Las Vegas approx. 18 mths ago, my husband & I were active volunteers for an LA based rescue group. We had made a commitment that we would make ourselves available for any volunteer activity which includes transporting, adoption events and fundraisers so I’m very comfortable around all animals & breed types. Since returning to Vegas, we have not connected with a rescue group locally so Rover.com would be able to give me the opportunity to combine my love for animals & exercise together. We have 3 rescue dogs at home (Caleb, Duke & Oliver) who are just a joy. If it were up to me, I would have 6 dogs or more but having our 3 & being able to spend time walking with Rover.com just might be the perfect blend.

Involved with several rescue groups in Los Angeles area for years and is well respected with Labs and Friends. Has lived in Las Vegas for over 2 years and has been approached by many groups to work with them. Has 3 rescues at home and is very familiar with all breads and is knowledgeable as to various characteristics of many breads. Her husband is also involved. They consider their dogs their children. Her whole family has dogs.

I love all animals so I don't have a breed preference. The only thing I'd like to know before meeting them is their likes & dislikes. What are their favorite treats? Do they like brisk walks or just taking in the smorgasbord of doggie smells at the park? Do they feel comfortable right away with new people or do they need time to warm up to them. Really, just the usual when meeting a new dog. It's all about them feeling comfortable with me.
A typical day
I live in Summerlin, NV so we'll have many choices whether we go for a walk to the park, Downtown Summerlin, Coffee bean or just chilling in the shade during the Summer months. Guaranteed...I'll have just as much fun as the "furbabies".
