Pet care experience
Hi!! My name is Stacey, and I am a professional animal lover. I am not kidding! I have owned many animals throughout my life and haven't met a single one that didn't like me. Currently, I own one dog, and two cats. My dog is Bear and I refer to him as a “dog’s dog”. He is very playful so if you have a calm dog it might not be that great of a fit. I also frequently foster rescue dogs. I have always had animals in my life. I started watching other people’s animals at eight years old! Whether it’s my family, friends, or friends of friends. They all know I am the animal person who will sit on the floor and pet a dog for two hours and be perfectly happy. I love all animals and promise to treat yours like I treat mine. If I stay at someone’s house, I typically like to have my boyfriend drop in occasionally at the start so I feel more comfortable (I am up very upfront and honest). I will frequently send you pictures, videos, and updates of your dog. I promise they will be spoiled! My house is not fenced in, but I have over 100 ft tether and live on a private drive (the last house on the street). Woods and trails surround it! I also walk my dog for 90 minutes daily (usually two 45 minute walks) so not having a fence has not be an issue even with active dogs!

Hero told me that he had the bestest time with Stacey and her dog Bear. He told me that Stacey took him for walks in the woods and that playing with Bear made him feel like a puppy again. Stacey is definitely on my shortlist for dog sitting my little buddy next time I need someone.?
Excellent communication throughout, would definitely use again
Stacey is a great sitter. She treated Murphy like he was her own dog. She kept us informed throughout the night. It was obvious Murphy enjoyed his time with Stacey.
What a great experience. Stacey was wonderful with our dog (Pogo). She sent videos and pictures everyday. She took Pogo out for walks and even dressed him in a bowtie. I can not stress enough what a wonderful experience this was. Pogo received better attention then a kennel. Thank you again Stacey. Can't wait to use you again. A++++++++++++++ across the board!

I keep saying this, but it’s the truth; I will treat your animal like it is my animal, even if it’s just for a short walk! I also will follow any routine you have/rules in place. I understand consistency for dogs is extremely important and I do not what any added stress to the animal. I also like to send pictures to you, so you know how your animal is doing.

I currently have a back injury. If your dog pulls too much, please let me know. My boyfriend can help with anything if I cannot, so don’t worry, your pet will be well cared for! I would love it if you could tell me any training commands they know, any quirks that make them unique, their favorite toy to play with, how they walk on a leash, and anything that you think I need to know to ensure your animal is best cared for! If you are boarding please bring a favorite toy and/or bones, if they have any bedding/blankets, treats, food, a leash, and anything else you think I would need.
A typical day
I feel like dogs need physical and mental stimulation daily. I love going to highland orchards (very close to my house) with dogs as they have so much to see and smell. I provide daily mental enrichment with dog puzzles or sniff mats. I also like to make training fun and practice the basics for even more mental stim. If your dog stays with me, I love to incorporate walks daily! I also try to take my pup to a new place daily to get him comfortable in unfamiliar places. That means daily I am learning cool new places to bring dogs (if you are comfortable with that!!!)

I spoil my dog rotten. I am home 24/7 and can tend to your dog's needs all day long! I usually take my dog on two long walks throughout the day, perform training sessions daily, and give at least two mental enrichment puzzles like dog puzzles, sniff mats, or lick mats. I am about fulfilling the dog in any/all ways.
