I have been watching pets for over 30 years and I grew up with all sorts of creatures and dogs. My daughter, Rachel, who works with me, when she is home from college, was planning to be a veterinarian until recently. Rachel, and my other assistant Robbie grew up with many pets also. We are definitely animal people! I am recently divorced, a concert photojournalist for a music magazine, and I was just hired by a local non-profit. The nonprofit position is a part-time and mostly remote…which is terrific because I can still take care of my Rover families. We love all pets, and would have a bunch more if we could ….so watching yours prevents “me” from getting more! Dogs are like children, they want love and positive attention. I can assure you, we do whatever we can so your dog feels loved and safe, and you have no worries. I live on a corner so as my neighbors walk by they say hello to my dogs by their names as they are being barked at. It’s great exercise as the dogs run along the fence. I have a pool dogs can enjoy if they like. I am always with the dogs while they are outside so, yes they are very safe. Safety first is our number one house rule. Actually, now that my children are all grown up, it might be the only rule. 🤔 I have a large yard for the dogs to run around, lounge chairs for sun bathing and a covered patio with a fan and heaters and comfy chairs where we watch TV and listen to Amazon music. With my children grown, watching and playing with OPD (other peoples dogs) is like having children around. With a team of 3, someone is always here to care for and watch your baby, if not then your baby will most likely go with one of us. I welcome meet and greets and if your still nervous I suggest half or full day visits prior to your boarding.
