·I will board unspayed females but they can't be in heat during their stay ·Is your pet current on their annual exam and vaccinations? In dogs 16 weeks or older, I would require a copy of vet records showing current Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough, canine cough), and Distemper/Parvo (DHLP, DHLPP, DA2PP-L.)           ** For puppies that are not old enough to have received all of their vaccines (younger than 16 weeks old), they must still be on a regular puppy booster schedule under the supervision of a veterinarian. For the safety of your pet, I reserve the right to deny puppy sitting if I have other home boarders at the time, as puppies that have not finished their puppy series are not fully protected against these diseases. I will not board any puppy younger than 12 weeks of age. ·Is your pet on a reputable flea and tick preventative monthly? ·I live in a condo with 3 floors and stairs. Does your pet do well with stairs? ·Does your pet like other dogs? Cats? Other animals in general? ·Does your pet have any allergies? Food or other? ·Does your pet have any special needs, require medication and/or health issues? ·Does your pet need crated at night time? I do require them to be crated for very short periods of time if I have to leave my home.

I am surrounded by walking paths and trails that I walk daily with my dog and would love for yours to join. Nature parks, dog parks, ball or Frisbee toss, anywhere the pet may already be familiar with and love to visit. I love to know all about your pet and will accommodate their interest (within reason) so that their stay, walk or drop in visit will be as much fun as possible. If they love to run and play we can go to the dog park or run around my (unfenced) backyard on 20 foot leashes or if they prefer cuddles we can lounge on the furniture or outside in the grass. I have a 5 year old son who loves animals and has been taught how to handle and be around animals and loves having dogs stay with us.
