I hope to be able to open availability again soon. ~Stacey About Me: I have adored animals for as long as I can remember and as a child was constantly begging my parents for another pet. We started with fish and progressed to hamsters and gerbils, lizards and snakes, and dogs and cats. I loved each one dearly and made sure they were given everything possible to live comfortable, happy, healthy lives. My first job was at a vet's office cleaning kennels, feeding, walking, and medicating the various "tenants." The vet provided me with a strong foundation for caring for cats and dogs of all ages. Throughout my teenage years, I was the neighborhood's go-to pet sitter and have continued to volunteer to care for friend's pets as an adult. I currently own 2 dogs (who I absolutely adore) named Rocky & Mac. We're working on commands and short training sessions daily intermixed with a lot of fun socializing, play time, and of course regular naps. I've owned one other dog and a cat as an adult, both of which have passed. The dog, Sammy, was rescued at the age of 2 from a suspected abusive situation. He had severe behavior problems and anxiety which caused aggression to both people and other dogs. We worked with a behaviorist for a long period of his life and succeeded in significantly reducing his aggression to a point where he would greet visitors calmly and even made a few dogs friends.
