I’ve fostered 30+ animals for a local rescue group over the last 2 years (mostly dogs). I have experience with different sizes and temperaments. I’ve fostered puppies (as small as 3-5 weeks), adults, seniors with health issues, and injured animals. I also have a small spayed Aussie mix and cat of my own. I am insurance agent. My availability varies with my work schedule week-to-week, but I work from home probably 60-70% of the time. If I leave to visit friends or family, I often take my fosters with me or crate them, depending on length of stay/if it’s a dog-friendly environment. Part of my yard is fenced in, and I have a crate to use if needed. I have extra food bowls, carriers, and leashes on hand. I typically only crate my fosters (or boarders) if I need to leave for work or an errand. There could be times that I have an overlapping foster dog but can make you aware if so.
