If your dog loves running around in a shady back yard with other dogs, I’m the person for you. My 2 year old pup loves other dogs and has grown up around cats her whole life. You may have seen us at Fetch dog park! Additionally, my fence is 6ft tall with bricks at the bottom to deter diggers. My two indoor Maine Coons love playing with other cats. If your cat prefers to be left alone, I’ve got plenty of vertical space and hidey holes for them to feel safe. During the day, my pup and cats spend most of their time napping in my home office with me. I have experience with both very young and senior pets, and giving pets medication. Please be sure to pack enough food for the stay and all required medications. I have treats and dog beds/blankets galore so please don’t feel the need to bring your own. I will place your cat’s litter box and food away from the others so that they feel like they have privacy. Can’t wait to meet your furbabies! On weekends I have dogs, the schedule is very similar as above, except that I might take them to a park, a hike, or to a restaurant's outdoor patio, with your permission of course. Instead of the office, they might sit on the couch and watch while I meal prep, deep clean, or watch a movie. On weekends I have dogs, I do not leave the house for longer than 2-3h, and if I know it's going to be longer for whatever reason, I take them with me. I have a spare room, with a crate, blankets, dog beds, food and water that I'll place your pup in, for the 1-2h I leave the house everyday to go to the gym. Depending on your dog's preference, they might sleep in the bed with us, in that spare room, or on a dog bed in the bedroom. A typical schedule on a weekday looks like this, and can vary depending on how your dog gets on with mine, and how much attention they'd like or need. 7.00-7.30: Morning bathroom and play break in backyard 7.30-8.00: Feed dogs breakfast (separately). -Hang out with me in the office- 12-12.30: Lunchtime pee and playtime in the backyard -Hang out with me in the office- 5.30-6.00: Late afternoon bathroom and play break 7.00-8.30: I'll crate your dog, or leave them with a family member while I go to the gym -Hang out on the couch, or in the bedroom- 11.00-11.30: Walk around the block for night-time pee. I never allow dogs to play unsupervised. I tend to keep a routine that allows your dogs to play and relieve themselves every 3-4h in my fenced yard. If your dog is a puppy or a senior dog, it'll be more frequent. I also restrict playtime in a day to 1-2h in total, to avoid dogs getting cranky and tired like toddlers.
