Hi there, my name is Sophie and I am here to help! As a full-time pet sitter, I couldn’t be more grateful to spend as much time with animals as I do! I pride myself on being extremely caring and responsible and want nothing but the best care for all animals. A tried and true animal lover to the core. I understand that allowing your furry family members to be cared for by someone else may be stressful, but I can assure only the best care and love for your pet. Details are important to me...Is your pet on a special diet? Do they take any medication? Do they require any grooming or special maintenance? Etc. Very important! All pets will receive my undivided attention, walks, play-time, grooming or anything else you may wish for your pet. As the owner, you will receive multiple photos and updates throughout the stay to reflect all of these details. I have had the pleasure of helping Rover users with different services and recognize the importance of all time spent with a pet, from long-term stays to walks and check-ins. It is also important to me that I leave the home in the exact condition I found it in, especially for over-night stays. Cleaning up after myself, showing respect for the home and caring for the home are all things I pay special attention to. If you are in search of boarding services in a sitters home- you’re in luck! I board pets in my condo as well as offering the in home pet sitting services described above. I do not currently have any pets of my own allowing me to give your dog or cat my full and undivided attention! I do accept multiple pets from the same family but do not board pets from multiple families at the same time to insure a smooth and safe boarding experience for all! I highly recommend Sophie. The initial meet-and-greet session allowed my pup and me to get to know her. My usually leary dog was kissing her within minutes of their introduction. It is clear that Sophie not only has a deep understanding of canine behavior but also a true passion for her job. I receive delightful updates and photos after each walk, showcasing the joy and happiness on my pup's face. It's evident that Sarah goes above and beyond to ensure my dog is cared for and has a good time. Great peace of mind I have knowing my dog is in capable and caring hands. Sophie was amazing! We instantly felt at ease with her when we met her during our meet and greet and we knew she was the one to watch our pup. We also felt very comfortable having her watch our pup in our home. She provided many updates and pictures along the way and we will DEFINITELY request her going forward. Thanks so much, Sophie!
Sophie provided overnight care for our two dogs while we went on a weeklong recent vacation. It was so easy to work with her. She was professional, knowledgeable and so caring to our dogs, one who is 14 years old. Leaving the older dog has been an ongoing challenge but Sophie went above and beyond to care for her and to keep me informed about how their time together was going. I'm sure we will be using Sophie a lot more, as we know feel more secure in leaving our dogs, especially in the comfort of their home, with Sophie's TLC.
Sophie was very kind to Autumn and Autumn loved her ear rubs right away!

After 3 years of being a full time pet sitter I am happy to say I have expansive experience with senior dogs, puppies, and reactive dogs- all of which require different knowledge and understanding. If boarding in my home, all pets will be the sole animal in the home for assured comfort and safety. Although my yard is not fenced in, there are no pets residing in the surrounding units of my condo so your pup will have full range to roam, walk and sniff their hearts out without risk of interacting with other pets. My condo complex is very quiet and a great place to go on walks. The details of your pets routine are paramount and directions will be followed to a T!

It's very important to me to know as much as possible about the dog, cat, or any animal I will be caring for in your home (or mine if boarding) especially for overnight or extended stays. All details from from medication, walks, treat allowance, to how they interact with people and other animals is very important for the safety and happiness of your pet! All of this info, and more, is noted in detail the time of our meet and greet.
A typical day
Walks are very important to stimulate and, of course, exercise your pup! I find walks can also help reduce any anxiety the dog may have while away from their owners as well as keeping them entertained!! We will do any sort of exercise, walks, hiking etc. that the dog is used to or the owner would like for the pup.
