Pet care experience
Hello! I am accepting new clients for walks and drop ins. A little about me: I have had animals since I was very young. I had a lot of pets growing up and have lived on many farms across the country. I have a variety of experiences caring for pets, house sitting, communal living and doing farm stays. I am an outdoorsy person who enjoys running and hiking. I love camping and traveling when I am not home caring for animals. I have cared for many chickens, snakes, turtles, cats, rabbits , mice and rats, and dogs of all sizes to name a few. I am an herbalist with interest in animal homeopathy and natural healing. I have always loved animals and had a very special connection with them. I adopted a dog a few months ago he is almost 6 months old. He’s my absolute best friend. I love working and training with him! I can’t do house sittings currently anymore because I want to be with him at home. If your dog likes other dogs let me know ! He loves to play and I’d love to bring him over for a play date. I am a very respectful and responsible person who loves animals so much. I enjoy working with them and it would be a joy to meet yours and get to know their personalities.

Sophie took amazing care of my two dogs, was very communicative and left our house in great condition! She kept me updated with pictures and I felt very comfortable with my pets in her care.
Sophie did a good job with Lily who has some anxiety and was scared since she has been mostly with us for two years (given COVID). I knew I could count on Sophie and I was right. She is a very friendly person as well and kept us posted on how Lily was doing which put us at ease. Trustworthy and kind!
Sophie was so amazing. Rosco took to her right away, accomodating his joy of jogging even if just a little at 11 1/2. Great communication and would definitely use her again.
Sophie was amazing. Our big old man was well taken care and happy. The house was left spotless and she even watered our plants. She kept us updated with adorable pictures. Will for sure use again and recommend to others that may need someone to watch their pets!

What are your pets “do’s and don’ts” around the house. Can they be on the furniture? Do they go outside in the yard alone? Are they cat or squirrel chasers? Allergies and sensitivity? Also one last note- it is very important for me to know if dog has ever shown aggression towards a person or other animal. I want to make sure we are taking the right precautions if that has ever happened. Thank you !
A typical day
On our stay, I can walk dogs around your neighborhood, run with them or go to a park. I love running and enjoy long walks and runs with high energy dogs. We can also play around the house or in the yard . If they are lower energy and just need someone to pet them and give them treats and tell them they are beautiful I can do that too ! It is very helpful for me to know their normal route and safety of the streets and neighborhood. I prefer to stay off busy roads and keep it chill and safe while we walk. As for kitties, i can play with them or just let them do their thing if they are shy. I can brush them, too, and put on some “cat tv”… Hours of birds and squirrels eating seeds on youtube. My cat loves it!

Availability
My availability is fairly open (on my open calendar days) for taking care of animals. I can come and go as needed to care for pets. I love going on walks when I wake up and love taking dogs out for a morning walk or jog. Before all bookings, I do a "meet and greet", let me know whats days and times work best for you!
