Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple dogs, often pet sit for neighbors and friends, and walk my friends dogs when they are too busy to do so themselves. I also have experience with overnight dog-sitting and dog boarding. I have taken classes regarding dog health and have interned at All Pets Animal Hospital in Encinitas California. I have personally cared for dogs with varying medical conditions which has made me flexible and has provided me with skills necessary to care for dogs with specific needs. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and want to give them the attention and love they deserve. I also love being outdoors, so I am always willing to take long walks or even take dogs on a trail run!

Sophie (and her husband) looked after our little Jimmy whilst my wife and I were away getting married. We got updates all the time and she even gave him a tie to wear on our special day. We could tell Jimmy had the best few days and we were so pleased we chose Sophie. Highly recommend and would happily leave Jimmy with Sophie again if we ever decide to renew our vows! Thanks Sophie

Sophie has been walking my Portuguese Water Dog, Jello for a few months now. He is quite a nervous boy but completely relaxes and trusts Sophie to walk him. She takes him to his favourite places (the beach and the park) and will always send me photos of their walk. Sophie collects Jello from my home when I'm at work, so I leave keys with her in the morning so she can just let herself in. Should I ever need Jello to be looked after over night, I would confidently leave Jello with Sophie, with the confidence that he would be happy with her.
