Hello! My name is Sophie. I am a therapist, educator, and artist from Washington, DC, and a recent graduate from Wash U's Master of Social Work program. Dogs, cats, and animals have always been an important part of my life. They bring me so much joy and comfort. I grew up with dogs, I have fostered rabbits, and I am the proud mom of 3 perfect cats. I've done a variety of pet care throughout my life with pups, cats, and beyond of all ages and personalities.

Keeping your pets safe while they're in my care is incredibly important to me! I always use extra precautions, such as keeping distance from other people and dogs when walking your pup, double checking gates and fences when necessary to prevent escape artists, and being extra cautious of any foods I may bring into your home. Any particular safety concerns you have can of course be discussed!

A day with your pets definitely depends on what you're looking for it--be it walks, fetch, lots of belly rubs, quick trips outside, or otherwise! Your pets will be entertained, cared for, and showered in love.

Availability
It depends a lot on the day of the week, as my work schedule is inconsistent from day-to-day. On certain days of the week, I work more hours with less breaks, and on other days, I have more flexibility. If you can share info with me upon requesting my services about how often your pets can be left alone and what type of care they require, that's a huge help to me in assessing if we're a good fit! I want to be sure your pets get all the care and loving they need.
