🐶Hi everyone! 🐶 We hope all is well! About Us My name is Sophie. I’m a graduate student. My partner Jonathan is a college professor. We have been on Rover for two years! We both love dogs and enjoy their company! We will make sure our four-legged friends have a fun, safe, and relaxing stay with us! Your dog's safety and well-being are always our priority. I have many years of experience taking care of dogs, and Jonathan grew up with dogs and had more than 25 years of pet care experience. We are available during summer, and winter breaks! At least one of us will be full-time at home. • We love spending time playing with dogs and exercising them. We love cuddling with dogs, and we give the dogs a lot of attention and always supervise them when playing indoors and outdoors. Everyone will get plenty of exercise and playtime! About Our Dogs • We have four super friendly golden retrievers. Our male dog Euler is a goofball who loves to play. Our female Rosie is very calm and super affectionate. They get along well with all dogs, large or small, and love meeting new furry friends! Sebastian is a charm. He's sweet and outdoorsy. Chloe is our gorgeous baby. She'd love meet her new furry friends! About Doggy Boarding • We are available for summer break and stay home full time. We will have plenty of time to play with your pups! Check out our calendar or message us for availability. • We have more dogs staying with us during the holidays. Our furry friends will get a lot of interacting, exercising and playing with other dogs and people. It's the perfect time to socialize your fur baby with other pups to ensure a happy, well-balanced doggy life! • Pick up and drop off time is flexible. We also offer to pick up and drop off with a reasonable fee. Please check out our recent videos on Instagram! We share some of our videos on IG. About Our Daily Routine • We play with the dogs and exercise them in the morning. They take their naps in the afternoon. • We take our dogs to Knowland park for long walks each evening. The dogs can run freely in the field and get tons of exercise. • We give the dogs fresh water, toys, and healthy treats. A bed with blankets, regular grooming, and optional baths keeps your dog clean and comfortable. • We send pictures and videos of your dog daily to keep you updated. About Our Home • Our place is next to the park, with a large fenced hillside yard. Our living room is clean and spacious, furnished with comfy doggy beds. I have a good sense of Dolly's experience with Sophie and Jonathan when I dropped her off for her third visit with them. She jumped out of my car, gave them a warm welcome, and went off with her playmates. She never even said goodbye to me. It gives me a great sense of security knowing she is getting love and attention from this dog-loving family.
Great communication and care, I can tell my babies had the best time! They we wonderful about sending pictures and video, and quick to respond to messaging. I would love to send my boys there again for their ‘vacation!’
Sophie and Jon did an incredible job making both me and my quarantine pup comfortable about our first time apart (for 12 days!). Toby was very happy to be a part of their fun and busy pack with long daily walks, swimming and play time at the park. They took and sent me pictures and videos of him every day, which really helped to ease my mind. They even took extra care with cleaning his ears and gave him a bath before we picked him up! I would have no reservations in leaving him with them again in the future. They are truly dog lovers and welcomed him in their home which is SO much better than the idea of leaving him in a kennel (dog jail). Thank you so much for caring for my big baby!
Our 2 big pups always have the best adventures with Sophie & Jonathan and their doggies. They love our pups like we do and that is hard to find. Huge thank you for going the extra mile with Ronin & Enzo, you guys are the best!

We would love to meet you guys and have a fun meet-up at our place! • We usually accept two different clients, but we may have more dogs during holidays. Please check with us! • Let us know about your dog's health conditions, feeding instructions, sleeping schedule, and any specific behaviors like food aggression, protectiveness of toys, etc., during our Meet & Greet. • We have experience with many different sizes and breeds. We would love to have your pup stay with us!
A typical day
We play fun games twice a day and reward the dogs with treats. We will go for a walk in Knowland Park in the evening for at least an hour. Knowland Park is near Oakland Zoo and has very few people and dogs. It's safe and perfect for the dogs to go off-leash and explore. We also have a spacious backyard for your dog to hang out and play in. We will always supervise the dogs when they are playing. We will let them play fetching, tug of war, etc...
