I used Rover in California for almost 2 years and had a great experience with several families and their dogs. I also grew up with family dogs and have several years of experience pet sitting for family friends' dogs and cats. Monty, my childhood yellow lab, lived to be 14 years old and I helped take care of him when he was an old boy. In 2017, my family adopted Peyton, a rambunctious chocolate lab/hound puppy; her training and socialization taught me a lot about raising and handling energetic dogs! Dog/house sitting history: *Roxie (senior lab mix) and Chewie (pomeranian-chihuahua) *Hope (Brittany puppy) loved to play and needed a full-time babysitter. *Precious (Irish Wolfhound) an absolutely huge dog, but the sweetest lady, with her sister Moxie, a little terrier. *Keeva, a sweet and smart poodle who needed encouragement eating and daily eye drops. *Daisy (young Great Pyrenees) who needed a 4-mile walk every day and lots of love. *Raffa (senior Terrier) had a sensitive stomach and needed heart medication, but was still happy to go for walks. *River (8yo retriever mix) and Malbec (3yo pitbull) who insisted on waking up at 6 am to go outside, eat breakfast, and then go back to bed. Cat sitting history: *16-year old black cat named Boston who needed daily medication. *3, 1-year-old kittens who needed a lot of love and socialization.
