Hi! My name is Sophia. I am a lifelong dog lover. I was essentially born loving and caring for dogs. Starting around age 8 or 9 I began walking my neighbors dogs for A DOLLAR. Yep; Dollar Dog Walks. Talk about inflation 🤣 I am a stay at home mom, two human toddlers and one Aussie pup. You can say my life revolves around my pack. We have a pretty good balanced routine in place which allows my calendar to be flexible. Outside; we have a great open fenced in backyard, great for potty, play and just air breaks. I do enjoy walking to the nearest park or around the block as I think it’s more interesting for the pups. (And TikTok says sniffing on walks is like dog social media lol) Inside; I’ll start by mentioning again we have two small kids. They are both phenomenal with dogs and very gentle. That being said, the house is completely baby proofed thus essentially being dog proofed too. My own dog is crate trained as he is still pretty young (so I don’t allow that freedom yet). If I have to leave the house briefly, I also have a baby gate to make my hallway a temptation-less, dog safe area. If you are most comfortable giving me the okay to allow 100% free range if I have to step outside, that’s also no problem. Also, I wanted to mention, though I do live on the first floor. There is a small flight of stairs to get to our front door. I know not all dogs are able to walk up and down so I’m willing to carry dogs up to 60pounds up and down the steps. (also if you’d like, I can work with young dogs who just need some step training.)
