Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life around all sorts of animals! I worked as vet assistant for two years as well as an adoption’s assistant and pet care specialist at my local humane society before moving to Florida. Fortunately this has given me lots of experience with different breeds of dogs and cats coming from all backgrounds. Is your pet reactive or anxious, no worries! I have a vast knowledge on both dog and cat behavior and love to help educate owners on how to better understand their pet.

Sophia was amazing she made sure my boys were happy and well exercised. She sent pictures and videos of my boys having a nice time with her. Her photos and videos allowed me to enjoy my vacation even more. I will definitely be booking her for future dog sitting jobs.
Sophia has watched our 2 Miniature Dachshunds Motley and Hoagie a couple times. Hoagie has separation anxiety and he right away was so comfortable with Sophia and does not need medication when we leave with her watching him. She also came up with enrichment activities to keep them entertained that they both loved. Recently she stayed with them for a week and the house was cleaner when we arrived home than when we left it. Sophia is a great communicator and shares updates frequently with videos. I’m so thankful that we have her available for the boys and highly recommend her services. She is great!!

I can not say enough good things about Sophia. She was super sweet and very easy to get along with. Also a great communicator. She provided updates during her stay and pictures. One of our Shepherds had surgery and had a bandage on her tail. Well, too much tail wagging and the bandage ended up slipping down. Sophia graciously stepped up to the plate and changed out her bandage. I was so grateful to her as that was unexpected. Our house was just as we left it. She will be my go to girl going forward.

I am extremely respectful and patient with all walks of life and will go at whatever pace your pet is comfortable with. Whether it be snuggling under some blankets, going on a hike, or simply sitting and watching birds out the window, I am here for it!

A typical day
The best way to exercise a dog is to exercise their mind! I like to allow dogs to take the lead and follow their nose to explore the different parks and hiking trails we will visit. Your dog is choosing the adventure I’m just along for the ride! If your pet would rather stay inside, no worries! I like to find fun and creative ways to provide them with enrichment like snuffle mats, food puzzles, or even just your typical play.
