I have a dachshund (Jordie) who loves people, but is reactive towards other dogs. He has never hurt another dog, but I am very careful with him nonetheless and cautious of leaving him in someone else’s care when other dogs may be present. Sophia has watched Jordie for me multiple times when I am visiting for the holidays. Because I stay with family, other dogs are unavoidable on these visits. She has done an excellent job recognizing when my dog is stressed and has deescalated or removed him from situation before any aggressive behavior occurs. I have also watched her handle a people reactive dog. She was patient and respectful of the dog’s boundaries as well as very knowledgeable about reactive dogs. Sophia would make an excellent dog sitter or walker. She is responsible, caring, and experienced. I would trust her completely to care for my dog.
