I have been pet sitting for about 7 years, word of mouth and can provide references when needed, I have cared for cats, dogs, amphibians, and fish. My dog and cat both love Sophia. We take a lot of vacations and it's nice to not worry about our pets back home, wondering if they're doing ok. She plays with them, takes the dog for a walk, sits with them, etc. Sophia is a really wonderful, compassionate person.

I do not have pets at this time, I have typically been a pet parent my entire adult life however, my dog passed away a couple of years ago at the age of 11 and I have not yet sought another fury companion.

The following is the list of information that I need to be able to do the best job possible Medical information is vital; any known conditions, medication, vet office to take to in case of an emergency, any allergies. Personality and history; what are the comfortable with and uncomfortable with, what is the preferred way of expressing and receiving love and affection, do they have a specific dog park they enjoy, do they have a best friend and if so are their regular play dates, etc. Overall anything that will make the experience of being baby sat by me less jarring while you are away.
A typical day
The beginning of the day always starts with head and belly scratches and some smooches on the forehead if they allow then bathroom time. I take my cup of tea with me and watching them enjoy the Morning air. Then on to breakfast and any morning ritual. I work from home so I will get ready and make a cozy place for them to cuddle up next to me if they would like. I love to take all the breaks I can to give all of the cuddles, kisses, and playtime through out the day. We will wind down together in the evening while I make sure they are as comfortable and cozy as possible.

Availability
I am a full time student and a full time employee, this is something I do on the side. I have a remote job which allows me to provide all of the care listed above while I’m working from home. Due to my schedule I do not currently have a fur baby, I love animals so greatly that I do over night dog sitting whenever I can. I enjoy spending time playing, cuddling, and over all spoiling the animals I share space and time with. I will be able to be with your pet all day, which can be very helpful for when separation anxiety is a concern. This will also give them an opportunity to get to know me and observe me for longer periods which help with trust building.
