I spent some time working at a dog shelter during high school and I absolutely fell in love with dogs. They calm my anxiety and I found they have always been the best way to socialize and get out of my comfort zone. My home is too small for dogs so instead, I have experience fostering kittens and cats, but I love all animals equally. I do well following along with the dog's personal energy level, if your dog loves to run I would love to go running with it, or if they want to just take a slow stroll I will do that happily.
