I love animals and have always had dogs and cats, most who have been adopted strays. When I was growing up, my family had ducks, chickens, goats, hamsters, and more. I have cared for beloved senior dogs and cats, strays, and feral cats. My senior kitty, Shadow, who sadly passed away two years ago, was found on the property when she was 5 weeks old, starving and too weak to meow. It was a blessing to nurse her back to health. Every moment with her was cherished. I have also cared for injured & orphaned birds and baby squirrels, and fed birds, squirrels, strays, turtles, raccoons, and possums that have come to the patio for food and water. Many years ago, when seeking my purpose and what I can give, I realized that it is love. It was a blessing and privilege caring for my parents in their latter years. Caring for others brings me great joy and there is a special place in my heart for those who have special needs. 💖🐈‍⬛🐶🐕🐱🐈💖 Important Note: 1) I cannot sit black pit bulls. One tried to attack Sassy and she has been afraid ever since. 2) I cannot sit Huskies. They have too much strength and energy for me.
