I finally get to do what I love in retirement! I have been an "animal person" for my entire life and have had the honor of sharing my home with many 4-legged pets. I've also been informally walking and caring for friends' pets--especially after losing my 13-year old Golden Retriever. I was thrilled when I learned about Rover.com and knew it would be a great fit. I will speak gently to your pets, give them lots of attention, throw the ball as many times as they want, and tucker them out for a long nap (if that's what's best for them)--everything you would do if you were home. My goal is VIP treatment for your pet and peace of mind for you. A little more about me: My husband and I are retired and live within walking distance of the recreation trail in Pacific Grove. We took an early retirement and have never looked back! We are both very active (golf, hiking, movies), fit, and healthy. I walk every day, although I miss having a furry friend to walk with me. I also volunteer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Gathering for Women, an organization that serves homeless women. I have a positive attitude and a flexible schedule.
