I have a well-trained and behaved German Shepherd that we will be walking together! I usually let my dog off the leash without a muzzle or Gentle Leader because he is well behaved, and I also work with him using positive reinforcement (treats and praises) as well as an ecollar. However, if you are uncomfortable with that, I have both a muzzle and Gentle Leader at hand to help ease your concerns. I’m sure they’ll have a blast! I like to take my dog to different types of parks to continue exposing him to different environments and associating different types of social experiences with positivity. If you prefer a more private or isolated walk, I can definitely accommodate your dog’s needs. If I walk him/her regularly, I could even incorporate some training over a longer period of time. I can also give them treats that you provide, and I always take extra water and poopy bags with me everywhere!
