Hello, My name is Solangel. I am an individual who has dedicated years to learning how to work with cats and dogs. I began gaining experience 10 years ago as a dog handler in doggy daycares, I then left to become a dog walker. I wanted to learn more of the medical aspect in the animal field and so I took a jobs as a veterinary assistant and retained so much useful knowledge to take with me. I am have spent the last 4 years working at a Commonly known animal shelter trying to build a career within the organization. But, I have come to the conclusion that I want to build my own empire and so here I come to Rover. I would like to venture and have the ability to build relationships with canine and human friends! From the moment I dropped off our boy, I knew he would be happy and cared for. Even though our pups weren't the happiest playmates, Solangel sent us so many photos of our pup smiling eye to eye. Wonderful all around!
Sol is awesome. She obviously loves dogs, is knowledgeable about dog behaviors and very reliable and Macy (my Golden Doodle) approves!!
Solangel is a very diligent, compassionate, sweet, loving person by nature but when it comes to animals that comes out ten fold. She has 4 years of experience working with the ASPCA caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments. Even with the shy & reserved she would dedicate the time to help them learn how wonderful human affection can be. In my home I have an available crate if needed as well as baby gate to block from the no access areas in my home (Amors room). When in clients home I abide by said rules and regulations!

I enjoy working with any type of dog. When going to sit a new dog, I would like to know if he is aggressive in any type of way (food aggressive, toy aggressive, any form of resource guarding etc.) Also if the dog has any type of allergies or medical conditions. I will like to know if there is a specific route fluff enjoys or if there is any other dog they have issue or they enjoy any dogs at all. :)
A typical day
When doggy sitting I generally like to go for long walks, possibly find a park to walk around in and sit on the grass or bench. I enjoying going into dog parks if it's okay with the owner. I love to get on the floor and play with the dog as if im a dog or even cuddle if thats what "fluffy" likes to do. I try my best to make sure they are having a good time or just relaxed state of mind. You give me all the info i need to know on what "fluff" loves and i will get it done.

I am available Monday- Friday between 10 am - 6 pm. I am open to earlier times or later if available. Weekends would be considered per availability and offer.
