Pet care experience
I love all animals! I cared for my own dog for 13 years, including through some health problems as he got older. I now have a sweet cat. I have experience house- and pet-sitting all kinds and ages of dogs and cats, from tiny terriers and chihuahuas to bigger golden retrievers and pitbulls. I have experience with young kittens and puppies, as well as older and senior cats and dogs. I also have experience administering medications. I have done some individual research on the food, care, and exercise needs of various small dog breeds, and hope to have my own dog again once I no longer live in an apartment. Having had a Yorkie Poo, I especially understand the specific needs of smaller dogs. I am an energetic, caring, responsible, and conscientious dog-sitter. I especially love walks and play time, and in my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and dancing. I look forward to caring for your furry friend!

I highly recommend Sofia as a dog sitter and dog walker. Sofia is extremely organized and dependable regarding both her care of pets and her responsibility to her employers. She is attentive and caring towards dogs and is equally adept at caring for puppies and active dogs that need exercise and play, and at dealing with medical needs such as special diets, oral and injection of medication, and anxious or elderly dogs. Sofia is calm and patient, and takes time to get to know the individual dog's needs.

A typical day
I love animals so I always have a great time with them. When first meeting an animal, I like to ease them into my presence and let them get to know me and come to me. I love walks and letting pups get all their sniffs in on a nice neighborhood walk. I live right next to a dog park (I can see the dogs playing from my window!) so I am comfortable taking dogs to dog parks, as well as on daily walks. I love to play fetch, tug of war, or just run around with your pup (especially if there’s a yard). I am very loving toward animals and love to give lots of pets and belly rubs.

I am currently a law school student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule with a lot of time during typical work hours to care for your pet!
