Pet care experience
Hi there - Sofia here :) I have experience sitting for dogs, cats, and other animals (hedgehog, birds, etc). My main experience is with dogs - I love dogs and grew up with one of my own! I also took care of neighborhood dogs when the opportunity arose. I now have my own pup, Oreo, who’s super friendly with other dogs and just wants to play! Now that I am WFH full time, I’d love to have Oreo play with another pup while I work. If you need me to stop by to walk/play with your pup, I have the flexibility. I am also happy to sit your pup in your own home. I have about 10 years experience with dog sitting as well as dog walking - big dogs and small dogs alike! Sofia did a fantastic job caring for my 6 year old cat, Lucas! She always provided a detailed message after every check-in, and I loved seeing the fun photos she posted of the two of them together. She was extremely patient with the very needy, loving, attention-seeking Lucas. I will certainly book Sofia to care for him again! Side Note: Sofia also informed me of how my plants were doing while I was away, which I really appreciated.
Sofia was really great with my 7 month old husky puppy. She sent a lot of pictures throughout the day and was very communicative so I felt really comfortable having my puppy with her. The dog run area that she has access to is also really nice, provides a lot of space for dogs to play around and is completely fenced off and secure. My puppy got along really well with Sofia's dog, Oreo. Oreo is really friendly and good with other dogs, so it's great for social interaction! My puppy had a few accidents in the apartment but Sofia was very accommodating and handled it like a professional.
Sofia is caring, patient, & responsible, and would make a great sitter for any pet. When I used to have a hedgehog (RIP), I hired Sofia to sit for her and my two parakeets. She made sure they were clean and well attended to while I was away. I have seen how she dotes on her own dog (Oreo) and I know other people who have trusted her to watch their pets. They have always had positive reviews and have booked with her again. Now that I have my own dog, I would absolutely trust Sofia to pet sit again (and I am very particular about how my animals are cared for).

Have they been aggressive before? Have they had issues with other dogs in the past? While on walk is there anything I should look out for/be aware of? I’ve dog sat for all types of dogs - old and young, big and small. I’m open to working with all dogs as long as I’m given some guidance! I’ve never had an issue with the dogs I sat for before so I wouldn’t expect any issues with your pup either!
A typical day
Walks are my favorite part of having a pup! I’ll be sure to walk your pup around the neighborhood for a good 15-20 min. I live close to two dog runs and am happy to take your pup for off leash time there as well!
