Hello! I am a sitter with 12 years of professional pet sitting experience, as well as experience working as an animal care technician and a dog trainer...not to mention a lifetime of experience caring for my own pets! I am highly responsible, punctual, and neat and will take care of your loved ones as if they were my own. My flexible work schedule allows me to spend lots of time with your pet, whether it's going out on walks, playing around, or just hanging out :) 12 years professional pet-sitting experience with cats and dogs 1 year volunteer experience as an animal care technician in a California animal shelter 1 year dog training experience with Eric von Falconer and the Santa Cruz, CA police force 30 years animal care experience with my own pets! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since birth. My family has always had dogs, as well as cats, rabbits, chickens, goats and all kinds of lizards, frogs and other small animals! When I was 11 I was chosen to work with the local police force training search and rescue German Shepherds, and have had a special place in my heart for big dogs ever since - but I truly love all breeds and sizes. I am able to administer medication with specific instructions.

Before sitting a dog I like to ask about their personality, so that I can be sure to be sensitive to their likes and dislikes. I always make sure I know about any allergies of fears your pet may have so that they can be safely avoided, and I like to find out where their favorite park or neighborhood walk is, as well as whether they have a favorite toy or game :) I'll ask about your pet's behavior around other dogs and if they have any canine buddies in the neighborhood who they like to meet up with when on walks or in the park! I love all breeds and sizes, and have no preference for either :)
A typical day
All dogs love company and I spend as much time as possible with your pet! The nature of my other work leaves a very open schedule and so I always have ample time to spend with your pet, whether its going on long walks, playing, or just being couch potatoes together :) Extra house-sitting services I'm always happy to help with other light tasks around the house while pet sitting, including taking in mail, watering plants, and taking phone messages if desired.
