Hello! My name is Skyler, I recently graduated from college in Philadelphia but I’m happy to be in Maine again! I enjoy playing with pets, photography and having an active lifestyle. Those of us who have pets are extremely lucky to live in this beautiful state and there is nothing I love more than enjoying nature with a loyal companion. Whatever your dog needs, I'll be there for them. Please note, I’m not accepting dogs under the age of 5 unless they are small and do well on a leash.

Skyler recently took care of our dog, Rosie, while we were on vacation. It was the first time we were leaving Rosie and we were incredibly nervous. Skyler took extremely good care of Rosie and calmed all our nerves. She even sent us photos of Rosie while we were on vacation. Skyler was very understanding of Rosie’s dog reactivity and managed it well. I would highly recommend Skyler if you are looking for someone to lovingly care for your dog.
At a week, this was the longest we had had Betty stay with a sitter. So, we were a little nervous to be aways form her so long. Skyler gave us nothing to be nervous about, however. There was great communication with Skyler - example: Betty, feeling a little homesick, was showing little interest in food. We brainstormed a couple remedies, and managed to get her interested in food once again. Would highly recommend Skyler as she was great with our "Scruffy Mutt."
Skyler did a great job taking care of our dog and was willing to host during Thanksgiving. Everything went smoothly and we will definitely book again with Skyler. Thank you for making it possible to have a relaxing holiday getaway!

Please let me know if your dog is special needs, gets along or does not get along with other dogs (for walking safety), or if your dog has any sneaky habits such as chewing shoes. All is good with me but I just prefer to know ahead of time.
A typical day
I’d love to know what your dog enjoys activity wise. It can be stressful in a new environment for them or if someone new is entering their home which is why keeping routines are important to establish familiarity.
