Pet care experience
I've owned dogs for my entire life ranging from huskies and Pitbulls to teacup chihuahuas. I understand how to care for all kinds of animals and I love meeting new furry friends. I currently have my own friendly pup which is a yellow lab crossed with a Great Pyrenees. She gets along well with all other dogs and is very easygoing.

Skylar was great! We were really hesitant leaving Aspen with anyone because she is a 12 year old Bernese Mountain Dog with bad arthritis in her hind legs and we’ve had a bad experience with a local kennel. She legit needs to be carried up and down the stairs and can be needy. Skylar took her on and let us meet him first for peace of mind. He sent us photos of her when we were away and overall we were really happy with the experience. Will never use a kennel again.
Our puppy Rocco spent about 6 hours here. Reyna sent a pic of him while we were away and this was appreciated. She told us that their older dog had snapped at him so their dog was kenneled for the duration. We appreciated being informed about this shortly after it happened and there seemed to be no lasting effects except for a limp for a few days after. Other than that Rocco received good care and had playtime with another Rover dog.

We brought our two very energetic family dogs to Skylar over the holidays. Skylar was wonderful with providing updates, including photos and videos. The dogs seemed to be having such a great time and they were exhausted when we picked them up from their stay. We felt confident and comfortable with our choice from the moment we started to inquire with Skylar and we would recommend his services to anyone!

I have multiple different sizes of crates that were used while my dog has been growing. I also have a large backyard that is fenced in. We are happy to provide references from past families we have dog sat as we often do doggy day care for friends and families dogs.

A typical day
I have an oversized backyard which is great for fetching small and medium dogs but with big dogs, I like going to either the Martensville or Warman dog park to let them be crazy and run around.

Availability
Since I am a full-time student (currently off for summer) my life consists of taking care of my 15-month-old baby boy and hanging out with my dog. My wife does shift work as a Registered Nurse so I will have lots of time to play and take care of all the fun doggos.
