Pet care experience
I've had cats and dogs in my life forever and my parents had many while i was a baby. Over the years, ive learned a lot from fostering, raising puppy and kitten litters, helping around many homes with pets, and lots of wonderful advice from those working in rescue. Experienced with parvovirus care, overseeing symptoms, and administering injections and medications. Puppies with parvovirus i assisted with in rescue were under 24hr observation of symptoms entirely under my care. This involved working overnight and administering saline injections and protien every few hours. Many of them were adopted afterwards!

This was my first experience using Rover and in general it was my first time leaving my cats with someone who wasn't family or friends. Skylar was great with them and followed their care instructions perfectly. The pictures I got with every visit went a long way in helping ease my anxiety and at the end I was even left with a sweet note and cute drawings of my cats. I'll definitely be reaching out in the future if I need someone to take care of them when I'm gone and can't recommend Skylar enough!
Skylar is an amazing person to be willing to work on Christmas eve & day. They came & met Charlye so he'd be more familiar with them. My fiancé & I would recommend them & will definitely book with Skylar again.
Skylar is great, she’s been very helpful making sure my cats have enough water, food, and also very friendly with them!
Skylar took great care of my cat! He can be standoffish with strangers but warmed to her immediately. She was extremely communicative and flexible, and I would definitely schedule her again!

Outside time is a huge part of my routine with dogs, with lots of fetch if they're up for it! some basic command reinforcement, sit, lay, etc. For cats I enjoy carrying a laser on my keys just for when I have the chance to play with one, lol!

A typical day
often times we'll go out to rivermont or heritage park, lots of motivational training for simple trick reinforcement and leash training if it's needed! playing fetch is an enjoyable activity for myself too and some calm indoor time is always nice

Availability
lunch and dinner hours are ideal for drop ins multiple times a day, and typically I'll run by homes between 10am-3pm, 5-9pm, and sometimes later or earlier for a 3rd stop if needed! Very flexible schedule ensures I'll have plenty of time for your buddy.
