Pet care experience
I have been working professionally with dogs and cats (and many other animals) on and off for over 10 years. Previous experience includes: dog walker, kennel attendant, dog/cat foster., farmhand. I work as a speech language pathologist by day and am looking to spend my free time doing what I love! I have great professional references who will be more than happy to assure your pet's safety and care with me. I worked at the Richmond SPCA in 2016 - 2017 and volunteered for PAWS of Southwest Virginia from 2010 - 2016. I have been a pet sitter on Rover for over 3 years and have had dozens of returning clients. I am available for daily dog walks and overnight house sitting.

Skyla watched my puppy last minute and had everything in complete control. Gunner got lots of walks, I got lots of pictures, and when I returned my house was in the same condition in which I left it. Would definitely/will definitely hire again!

Skyla was available somewhat last minute for taking care of our dogs - truly a saint for taking our request less than a week before needed, and on a holiday weekend at that! Our meet and greet was lovely and the drop in went smoothly - I loved the photos of the pups. We will definitely reach back out when we need someone again!!!

I'm currently available for weekend and longer term housesitting. When I lived in Richmond 5 years ago, house sitting was my main income so I gained a vast array of experience and knowledge. One of my clients had 8 alpacas, 20 chickens, 2 horses, 2 pigs, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a baby goat. I can handle whatever is thrown at me!
