I love dogs! I love people! Hire me to hang out with your dog and I can guarantee I’ll be communicative, flexible, and kind. I have been dog-sitting in client’s homes and dog-walking for about 5 years now, and it's one of my favorite things to do. I appreciate the sensitivity of animals and feel quite capable of attuning to their needs. I see each dog as whole and loving being who is deserving of the utmost care and respect. In doing so, I am able to care for animals with joy, presence, and a deep understanding of how much they mean to the humans that love them. *Recently, I’ve teamed up with my partner Jeremiah to offer even more availability and hours to my Rover clients. We work collaboratively to provide your beloved pet with the maximum amount of love and attention possible! He has even more experience with animal-caregiving as I do and is thrilled to be helping out.

Skye was very good with Buddy and Alfredo. Senior dogs a re a lot more work and she was cheerful and accommodating for what she needed to do for care! I would definitely ask her services again.
Skye did a wonderful job taking care of my three kitties and updated me throughout the stay with messages and photos! Would definitely recommend!
We have used Skye a few times and each time she has always had great response time letting us know if she is able to watch our dog or not. Love all the updates and photos she sends, throughout the day. Takes him on plenty of walks, runs and plays with him his favorite game of choice. When I always know when I drop him off he is going to have a good day, and is safe.
Skye stayed with our puppy at our house while we were away. She did a great job and communication was excellent.

I lead a very active lifestyle and will take your dog for long walks, usually through the graveyard and into Hickory Hill. I am also a huge fan of the dog-park and am happy spending several hours there, so if I take care of your dog and you'd like that, just let me know! I also have a lot of experience with training, and so if there are any commands or behaviors you are working on, again, let me know and I will team up with you to work on them. I’m here to be as helpful as I can!

Before accepting any house-sitting requests, I typically like to do an in-person meet-and-greet in my home to see how your dog reacts to me. There is also the added benefit that they will be more comfortable and familiarized with me when they are left alone for a longer stay. I will also usually ask you a list of a few questions, such as where they like to sleep, their routines, specific needs, and likes/dislikes, etc. This is just to paint a picture for me of what their life normally looks like, so that I can ensure our time together is as seamless as possible. For anything shorter (such as daycare or a walk), I am happy to do a video call or simply exchange information over text, whichever you are more comfortable with.
A typical day
When I agree to sit your dog, I commit to taking them on potty breaks every 2-3 hours until bedtime. Unless we have spoken about it and I have cleared it with you, your dog will never be left alone or unattended during the day. We can go to the dog park, go for a run, or just snuggle on the couch and chill! I will meet your dog’s energy level wherever it’s at and do everything in my power to make them as comfy with me as they are with you!

I work part-time doing care work and dog-sitting, so I am quite flexible. Afternoons after 2pm are best for me in terms of dog-walking, and I am looking for anything from daily repeat requests to one-time, last-minute bookings.
