Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Ana and I moved to San Mateo from Miami, FL a little over a year ago! I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I can't wait to be able to adopt my own puppy soon! In the meantime, I am excited to get to walk, house-sit, or board your best friend and make sure he/she gets lots of playtime, cuddles, fresh air, and exercise! My experience with dogs includes volunteering at the shelter, walking neighbors’ dogs while growing up, and caring for our family dog Keri who is the sweetest and silliest puppy (she is 8 now but still a puppy in my heart). I have also walked over 50 dogs here in San Mateo for the past few months. I look forward to meeting your dog, getting to know their personality, and going on adventures together!

Ana was a perfect match for Nalu! She not only met all his basic exercise, feeding, and medicine administration needs, but she truly went above and beyond by taking Nalu on a new adventure every day, like exploring open space parks or going running. She could not have been easier to communicate with, proactively sent daily updates and much appreciated photos of our pup in her care, and even graciously accommodated our very early morning drop-off and pick-up time requests. We’re thrilled to have found Ana and hope she’ll be available to look after Nalu again in the future!

Ana has been outstanding! She is perfectly reliable and she takes wonderful care of my dog! My little German Shepard Jax can be very shy and he doesn’t warm up to many people, but he can't get enough of Ana! The only person I trust to walk my dog is Ana!
Sinziana (Ana) is amazing with dogs! She has been caring for dogs for many years, including her family dog, volunteering at shelters, sitting/boarding, and most recently walking dogs here in the Bay Area. She develops a connection to every dog she meets and really tries to give them the best experience possible whether it’s walking or boarding them. She is a responsible, caring, fun, and active person whose love for dogs really shines through every time she gets the chance to care for one. She takes great care of every dog as if they were her own!

I have no breed preference, but I do live in a studio apartment so I prefer smaller dogs. However, I am ok with any size dog as long as owner is ok with it. I would like to know a little bit about their personality, diet, any special needs/medications, and what they enjoy doing! I always make sure to keep owner updated throughout the stay :)
A typical day
I live with my boyfriend in a studio apartment in a dog-friendly community with a lake, lots of pathways to walk on, and plenty of green grass for play. I also live really close to multiple parks in Burlingame and San Mateo, and would love to take furry friends hiking, to the beach, or to Golden Gate Park (with owner's permission). I am home every day for most of the day, so your dog won't get lonely, and will be taken out on multiple walks. I can also run with your dog so we can both get more exercise! Your dog is going to get lots of exercise, belly rubs, and play time while they are in my care :)
