I am a teacher during the week and a dog sitter on the weekends. I have owned a miniature poodle in the past, and have two jack russell/pit bull mixes living with my parents in Pennsylvania. I have had great success pet sitting in the Philadelphia area, but have just started looking for jobs in NYC. I can't wait to meet your furry friends! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog and animal lover my whole life. My parents got me my first dog, which was a miniature poodle when I was in elementary school. She lived for 18 years! When she passed away we waited a few months and then adopted two Jack Russell/Pit Bull mixes who my parents still have today. In the past few years I have added pet sitting to my resume, watching small Chiauauahs to larger dogs such as Golden Retrievers. I love them all! My experience administering medication... I am comfortable administering medication in pill form, but would be unable to give shots.

Here's where we'll take our walks I will be taking your dogs for walks into Colonial Williamsburg which is about 7/10 of a mile from my apartment. If your dog can't make it that far we can go for shorter walks around the apartment complex. Your dog's sleeping arrangement The dog can sleep in my bed with me, on the floor, on the couch, or anywhere else it feels comfortable. Time I'll spend with your dog I have made my availability for the weekends only so I can spend almost the whole day with your dog! I am able to dog sit on weekdays as well, but the dog would be alone most of the day (8-4) while I teach.
