Hello! My name is Simona, and I love animals ! I have had lots of pets throughout my life- I grew up with 3 wonderful dogs, a handful of cats, and my rabbit :) In 2016 I found my calling at a small dog-walking company in SF where I worked for two years, learning how to keep a pup happy, healthy and safe. This extensive practice caring for my clients' furry friends, coupled with my passion to care for more lil animals inspired me to develop my own business on Rover ! I have always delighted my clients with my genuine concern for their furry family members- I truly aim to provide the best care specific to your pet's unique personality. My goal is that your pet feel happy and safe in my care, as I understand how sensitive animals can be to changes in their routine, new experiences, or even triggers from past experiences. I love animals and I take my responsibility for your pet's safety, health, and happiness very seriously ! I guarantee a stress-free time for you by communicating honestly, pro-actively and promptly, and sending you lots of cute pics of your dog or cat ! (or hamster, chameleon, chickens, I love all animals !) Regarding pet-sitting: I am more than happy to care for your pet in their home and adapt to their routine when you are away ! I promise to treat your space with respect and keep it in excellent condition. I promise to go for a walk, or throw the ball when asked :) Regarding boarding: Your pup is more than welcome to stay at my home ! I have a fenced-in backyard, toys and treats, and I will even let them sleep in the bed ! I love to hike in the Oakland hills close to my house and would be thrilled to have your pup join me ! I promise to take your pup on a 30 min. walk every morning, around the neighborhood or to a dog park. Depending on the day, your dog might join me on a few more dog walks, or will spend the day at the house with me, with (supervised) access to the backyard whenever they like. And all the compliments and cuddles they could possibly ask for, of course !

Simona is wonderful. Great communication and took very good care of my pup. I have a border collie and it can be hard to find a sitter who’s a good fit for his higher energy needs - but Simona was amazing and I was able to go away for the weekend knowing my pup will be well taken care of.
Simona was great and provided plenty of updates and they were very flexible when our schedule changed suddenly. We would definitely book them again :)
Simona took fantastic care of my dogs. Every day I received pictures of very happy dogs hiking, playing with furry friends and frolicking at a dog park. One of my dogs has a food allergy and an appetite that gets him into trouble. Simona kept him on his diet. He came home happy, healthy and without extra weight.
Simona is an incredible caretaker. We've left our dog with her for several days and have nothing but great things to say. She's very kind to him, he's always excited to see her and we get plenty of pics during their time together. She always makes sure to take him on long walks and to get playtime with other dogs. We've worked with several dogsitters and Simona is definitely our favorite.

Although I love providing a fun environment for puppies to play, safety is my top priority. Years of experience have taught me the skills of pack management, meaning I have an observant eye for understanding body language and diffusing tense situations between dogs, and when boarding and walking I try to combine dogs with similar personalities and energy levels so everyone feels comfortable. I always separate dogs (with a door or gate) at mealtimes, and I don’t leave dogs alone unsupervised unless they are crated (or if I am watching only one dog, and the owner thinks the dog will be more comfortable, I will leave them in a safe space like my room instead of a crate.) I also love letting dogs hike off-leash, but I don’t let them walk too far ahead of me, I use extra tasty treats for recall training, and I keep my pack sizes small so I can keep an eye on everyone. some helpful things for me to know: Does your dog get along with other pups ? What is their energy level-how much exercise do they typically get in a day ? Can they walk off-leash on hikes, can they go to dog parks ? Are they crate trained ? I provide pet care full-time weekdays and weekends, with dog walks offered late mornings on weekdays. I usually send updates (photos) daily in the afternoon / evening.
