Having grown ever more bored of the 9 to 5 in IT and with the sudden loss of my father in February 2019 it has given me the motivation and opportunity to have a change of career to something I love. But what to do? I’ve grown up with plenty of small pets – rats, hamsters and gerbils to name a few. In recent years we’ve successfully adopted 4 rescue cats but with both of us working the time never seemed right for a dog. But it was obvious to me that since getting our first puppy 3 years ago (my partner has owned them all her life) and getting our second last year that dogs had pretty much started to rule both mine and my partner Charlotte's lives. Gundog training has become a regular event in our calendar and we’re often to be found at Mullenscote Gundogs on a weekend. Weekly obedience classes, agility in the summer months, game fairs, village fete competitions it is all dogs, dogs, dogs! So with this is mind I thought long and hard and decided to take up the challenge of working for myself and involving dogs as much as possible and here we are today! I am fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary, DBS checked and licensed for boarding by EHDC for up to 3 guest dogs. I have attended a canine first aid course and I'm currently studying a level 2 award in emergency care for dogs. Home Boarding and Daycare I can offer daycare and overnight boarding for upto 3 dogs, they'll share our home (and possibly sofa!) and join in with the households day to day activities. Every dogs stay can be tailored to their own needs. All potential boarders will need to come for a visit first to make sure we all get on and that we have all the information needed to make their stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Group walks On lead or off, whichever you want. Taking in varied routes and locations in the local area, a group of 3 or 4 is the norm. For those dogs that get on fine with others and are happy roaming the countryside together. I have Tractive and Findster GPS trackers available if you want the extra peace of mind they can bring. Solo Walks On lead or off, just your dog with me, out and about for an hour. Whether you have an antisocial or reactive dog we can take them out on their own off the beaten track away from everything! Pet Visits Whether it be feeding the fish, letting out the chickens first thing in the morning or keeping an eye on the cats whilst you're away, a 20 minute visit to make sure all is well with your pets.
