I live on a farm conveniently located very close to residential KCK. I have horses, chickens, two lovely shepherd mix dogs and one out door cat. My husband and I absolutely love animals and we would like to help others out with their precious pets when we can, so I have launched a pet/farm sitting service <3 My prices are total, unlike other sitters, I charge a flat rate for all animals on site, I don't charge per dog, so what I have listed is what you pay per visit, as long as all the animals can be cared for within the allotted visit time. My credentials: -approx 24yrs experience care, handling, riding horses, dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals -Ride English and western (old barrel racing background and a few years hunt seat and dressage, mostly ride English now) -Own my own property where I care for my personal animals- 3 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 6 chickens -Volunteered at zoo for 4 years caring for elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, tapirs, etc -Volunteered at animal rescue (one summer) caring for dogs, cats, goats, horses, poultry etc. -Worked at wildlife park caring for camel, working around alpacas and goats, also have experience working around llamas, we had one growing up -Worked for approx 6 months at boarding facility caring for +20 horses daily, feeding, watering and keeping an eye on the place -Given riding lessons for ages 6 through adult, I am extremely professional and safety-conscious, not like some of the back yard instructors with kids with zero experience riding bareback with no helmet. I always had a structured program with goals and lesson plans. -Served as 4H Horse Project Leader for approx 1 year, had to quit due to move for work, but still regularly volunteer for events. -Have an online knowledge-based certificate in Veterinary Support Assistant -I also hold 2 bachelor's degrees, one in Biology, on in Geology, and am working on a master's in veterinary biomedical sciences -I work for an Animal Health company, and have devoted my life to that field
