I have grown up with animals (cats and dogs) my whole life. My mom used to raise dogs and treats our family animals like my siblings so I learned very early that a pet is an equal member of the family. I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was 16. Dogs and puppies of all ages. I even have some experience with a more aggressive dog and had the privilege of with him to ease some of his anxieties. I really enjoy getting to know each pet and their personality and matching to it the best I can. I love being outdoors and going on long walks/runs/hikes-- especially with a furry companion! I honestly have used rover before and had great experiences but this time not so much. I hate to not say nice things I like to assume people do good a and have good intentions but I booked this super last minute and she for sure came to the house once because she sent one picture update. But when we got home both of our dogs were completely needy and clingy and felt like they were left alone the entire weekend. I don’t think they ever got any walks,she didn’t stay the night with them. We got home and the food was all over the ground. The bed she supposedly stayed in never was touched there was poop and pee all over our carpet. I felt so horrible the dogs had to deal with being alone majority of the weekend. I had a very bad feeling with how the weekend went and if you love u your dogs like we do I wouldn’t use this individual again. Ever.
Sierra did a great job caring for my dogs while I was at work! The dogs seemed very comfortable with her, and I would definitely trust her to watch them again.
I have had Sierra dog sit for my family multiple times. Sierra has an excellent personality and my dogs think so too. We don't need someone to dog sit often, but when we do Sierra is happy to help.

Full disclosure: I currently live in a smaller apartment so pet sitting for more than a few days would not be ideal for a medium-large dog. That being said, I have plenty of room for a furry friend to make themselves at home! However, I live downtown and have access to many large parks and the lake. I have a Prius that is comfortable and spacious enough for transportation for any small-large dog.

I currently work full time but have the flexibility of working from home so I lots of time for walks/runs breaks. I also have the weekends to spend at the park or lake.
