Pet care experience
I've grown up in a family of dog lovers; my parents now have 3 dogs: a Chocolate Lab, a Border Collie, and a Chihuahua. My dad used to train and compete one of our dogs in agility and disc dogs, so I've grew up around the local 'dog community.' Outside of my family I have petsat for neighbors and family friends since I was quite young! Rover is a great opportunity for all, and I'm really looking forward to giving quality care to your pets! My favorite thing is taking your dog to all the great local parks around Ann Arbor, if that's something you are looking for, but if sitting on the couch watching football is more your dog's style, I love that too!

Sierra is amazing! She sent us daily updates (very detailed) including many pictures where our dog was super happy. When we picked up Nina we noticed how she had gotten really close to Sierra and was very happy to be with her.
Sierra is a very responsible young woman who really cares for animals of all kinds. She has been involved in caring for or teaching children since she was in high school, has served as a teacher in Indonesia in the Peace Corps, and has worked as a nanny. She has always been around dogs and cats and has had her own or cared for pets of others as well.
Sierra cared for my adult boxer, Radar, while I was away on vacation. Radar is well trained and high energy, he loves people and enjoys running around and being cuddled and pet (what dog doesn't?). We have trained Radar using specific commands that we feel are important to keep consistent and Sierra was able to utilize them with ease while we were away, helping us keep radar on the same behavioral schedule. She exercised him, fed him, and showered him with love while we were away. We couldn't have been happier with her care for our radar.
Sierra has many qualities that make her a great dog caregiver. She is kind and loving and treats animals with a great amount of care, love and respect. I have seen the way she interacts with her dog and the way my dog loves to play with her. She is also very responsible, punctual and a great communicator.
