I have been around dogs the entirety of my life. I have always had a dog around my household, both my own and friends' dogs, and have grown to learn responsibility, care, and love for someone or something other than myself through love of my dogs. I have taken the responsibility over not only my own family's dogs, but other dogs that have needed care and attention, and have absolutely loved it. I personally value the existence of dogs in family atmospheres and the value of dogs that we uphold. I have always felt complete with a dog in my life, and I would love to be able to care for and nurture someone's dog as I would my own with any opportunity I can.
