I’m Sierra and I love dogs! They always know how to brighten your day and leave a smile on your face. I always adore getting to know new furry friends and I can’t wait to get to know yours a little better! Growing up, there were always dogs around (especially Australian Shepherds) and I’ve loved being a pet owner to some truly special pups. Currently, I have 12 year old Black Lab named Lucy who I adopted from the shelter I volunteer at. Lucy has allowed me to extend my skill and experience with dogs even further. It’s with this confidence in the care of our canine counterparts that I began pet sitting about a year ago. I’ve been around tiny dogs like Chihuahuas, Terriers, and Pomchies and big dogs like Cane Corsos, German Shepherds, and Great Danes. I’ve loved getting to know dogs of every different size, breed, and personality! In addition to my personal experience with dogs, I’ve been volunteering with my local humane society and a rescue organization in Cottonwood for the past two years. Some of my responsibilities included overnight care, feeding, and cleaning of kennels. I’ve also owned cats, rats, and birds in the past and I would be happy to care for any of these animals on Rover too! I know how hard it is to be away from your furry friend so I’ll be in constant and frequent communication, sending photo and text updates so you know how much fun we’re having together. I’ll also do everything I’m told to do and update you on what we get up to on our stay. I can’t wait to help care for your loved one!
