Hi! I’m Sierra, my partner Bela and I chose a team option when it comes to Rover because we want to ensure the pets we are caring for get double the attention and care. We recently just relocated from Memphis, TN here to Texas and we are super stoked to continue our career with Rover. I manage our profile on on the app. Both Bela and I switch between overnight stays. We both tend to help out with extra drop ins and walks when need be. Bela and I attend meet and greets together, so you get a chance to know both of us. For us working as a team is helpful in managing a dog or dogs that may or may not need more assistance than others, while keeping up with our furbabies at home. We both have experience with managing and dealing with reactivity in dogs, administering meds, indoor and outdoor enrichment. I also have a certification when it comes to dog first aid and CPR. Both Bela and I are also very well-versed when it comes to animal behavior. We only do overnight stays in clients houses as we have a reactive dog at home. From personal experience it is difficult to find someone who is willing to dog sit or even just walk a reactive dog. Most of the time with reactive dogs boarding or daycare is not an option. Either way we want to give owners of reactive dogs and non-reactive a chance to take a break and be able to relax knowing their pet is well taken care of.
