Hello, my name is Sierra and I have an absolute passion for all animals (especially doggos)! I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats. Not only did I grow up with cats, dogs, birds, fish, bunnies, and guinea pigs. I also managed and ran a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming facility. With plenty of duties on my plate here are a few skills I picked up on. The organization is huge when creating and overseeing schedules for the dogs, but also for all employees. The facility held 58 kennels and we could board up to 3 in one kennel (if they were family). Handling at least 50 dogs each day, with assistants. Planning out each day to a T, to stay productive and making sure all them pups are happy and healthy. Each dog is different and I learned that quickly. Every behavior and demeanor is different and I learned each pup's limits. I know what to do and not to do. Each dog's feeding schedules, allergies, medication, potty schedule, and of course treat times. In my one year at Bottrell Bed & Biscuit, I created two projects while working there, a Howl-o-ween Trunk or Treat which over 170 people attended (for humans and furry friends). I also started and created the Doggie Daycare system at the BnB facility, which is still going today! I also learned tips and tricks, on how to save dogs from choking and some CPR methods. ***Disclosure I AM NOT CERTIFIED. I have successfully saved two doggos from choking on their food. I also possess Customer Service skills, being most of my work is exactly that! I have worked with all sizes of dogs. I like to keep in shape to make sure I am able to properly handle them during walks/runs. Some pups like to walk us! I also have a pup of my own, her name is Miley! She is 4 years old (2021). She loves long walks on the beach, getting her hair brushed, meeting new people, car rides, and of course, TREATS! Miley and I enjoy the outdoors as well, fishing, running, swimming, hiking, etc.
