Hello there! My name is Sierra. I work as a veterinary assistant in St Petersburg. I grew up with big dogs like Dobermans, lab mixes, and a Weimaraner, plus 5 cats!! Since I was very young, I’ve done pet sitting and walking for my community members. I’ve looked after cats and dogs from all walks of life, whether it’s bottle-feeding newborn kittens or giving special care to old and special-needs animals. If you’ve got odd animals like chickens, goats, guinea pigs, freshwater fish, or donkeys, I grew up with those too and would be happy to help out! My past sitting employers tell me I’m efficient, dependable, and no-nonsense when it comes to animal safety, for both the pets and myself. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I currently have 2 cats named Oswald and Douglas. They are the loves of my life.

If your animal needs medication or special treatment, I can absolutely administer it. I will keep up with training for puppies and kittens while I am watching them, so long as you specify what to do. I can do overnight stays on any night of the week. I won’t be taking your pet home with me, as I have 2 cats that don’t like other animals.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog or cat can show aggressive behavior. I don’t have a problem working with reactive animals, but I need to have time to prepare.
A typical day
When I am watching doggies, I love spending a ridiculously long time outside. Playing fetch until we both collapse, walking around and smelling new things, and giving them the freedom to check out things they are curious about (within reason of course!) I like to always make feeding time a moment to brush up on basic training like sit and stay. For kitties, I enjoy finding which toys each cat is keen to. They are all so different in their preferences! I also love a good snuggle, if they are into that as well.

Availability
I am at the clinic from 8-5 on Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and 9-2 on Sat. I can either come at a very early hour or stop by when I’m done with work.
