Former Animal Care Specialist in the US Army. Worked as a veterinary technician for 4 years. Former Animal Shelter Technician. Experienced in Animal Medicine and Behavior. I have a dog, an almost 5yr old German Shepherd named Jamie. I have 6 years of pet sitting experience. I discovered my passion for helping and taking care of animals while I was serving in the Army and providing medical care to military working dogs. Since my military service I have continued to work in the veterinary field. In my free time I love to spend time with my own fur babies and give them unconditional love. I am currently working part time and only go to school for 3 days. I can ensure your fur babies needs are met with professional standards. While watching your dog in your home, or walking your dog outside, I will take all precautions to ensure your pets safety. I will follow instructions laid out before me to the highest degree.

Before sitting a dog, I would love to know their personality and if they have any behavioral stipulations. Wether that is food aggression, they can’t be left in the back yard alone because they might dig a hole or scale the fence, or if they need any medications daily.
A typical day
The dogs I watch, I love to engage mentally and physically. Wether that be giving them interactive puzzle toys to get treats out, or playing tug of war. I prefer to walk dogs around and near their home setting due to I believe it is much safer than taking them to a high traffic area.
