I have been around dogs for most of my life from friends and family owned dogs to dogs ive cared for at my place of work. I dog sit for my friends, family and associates when they are in need. I walk them, play with them, do basic grooming and care for them as if they were mine while their parent(s) is away. I also worked closely with dog groomers, as a dog bather, performing duties such as brushing, dematting, clipping/buffing nails, cleaning ears, brushing teeth and giving baths. And I currently work as a "Wag!"partner, walking and boarding dogs while their parents are busy. For me, it's not a chore and it doesn't feel like work when I care for other's dogs. It's what I love to do. I feel a special connection with dogs, guess you can say it's just in my nature. I just genuinely love dogs, always have and I always will!
